Printable Area vs. Sheet Size

I have this little request. I wish that when setting up Multi Sheet Layouts, that the layout was determined based on sheet size, not printable area. There are issues when sending/using the files that are setup for a different printer/plotter. But before I go much further this change should not effect the display of the printable area. It is very beneficial to know what the printable area is, so we shouldn't loose it. I know I am asking to "have my cake and eat it too", but this adjustment would have it's advantages.
