I'm new to Datacad and I'm trying to customize it in order to make it easier for me to switch between several different drafting programs. I started making some changes in short cuts per the DataCAD manual but had to reverse them when glitches appeared in other functions.

is there any reference material besides the manual on customizing the interface?

You may want to look into aliases -- these can be set up to mimic typed commands from other programs.
