| DataCAD Wins Highest-Level CADD Category for Design Excellence for
Second Straight Year AVON, Conn. January 24, 2000 DATACAD LLC announced today that its DataCAD 8.5 architectural CADD software has received a 1999 ADEX Platinum Award for Design Excellence, the highest level recognition from Design Journal magazine. ADEX stands for "Award for Design Excellence" and recognizes superior design of products marketed to the architectural and design trade. Chosen from 1,480 entries, DataCAD won the ADEX award for the second straight year in the Software and Technology / CADD Software category based on its design, robust 2D and 3D functionality, ease of use, and style.
