I regularly run into the problem where I'm trying to open files with the same name, but in different directories (usually a backup or old version).

If we could have an option (instead of DCAD saying no) to open the duplicate name as a "copy" similar to opening a file that is "in use" that would be great.

Having an "Open As" under the File menu would also be a great option both as a solution and as another file management tool.

Or just have Datacad recognize the paths, and open the files like every other windows program

The duplicate file names problem has existed ever since the
multiple file feature was added. Yes, it's still at or near the top
of the wishlist.
