Greetings,
I'm wondering if it would be possible to have the typical two thumb buttons on many modern mice function like Page Up and Page Down? The rear thumb button (which is usually the Back button) could be Page Up, and the forward thumb button (which is usually Forward in a browser) could be Page Down. This would make it possible to move through menu "pages" in DataCAD's menus?
This also could free up the scroll wheel to work for panning; since some newer mice have a tilting wheel (side pans) and up and down pans could work on the scrolling?
Just a thought....
BTW, this would use HALF of the buttons on my new Logitech MX610 mouse! It has five other buttons, that already have more specialized functions: volume up/down and mute, email and IM alert/startup!
