It would be cool if this worked and it opened a PText-like text box with an upper and lower editing area. Prefix and Suffix could always be "on" and just not show if they are blank. It would eliminate the need to go to the properties and turn them on, then Apply before you were able to edit them.

I'd say just leave the prefix / suffix editing in properties dialog; double clicking on a dim is pretty quick, but just replace the two On/Off toggles with the two prefix/suffix fields in the properties dialog so they are always on. If you don't want anything added, leave them blank.

Here's one from left field: I wish that the Dot-Dash linetype had little tiny circles in place of the dots, so they plot slightly stronger. Or, if they were tiny dashes, so that it looked like a widely spaced centerline.

You know - the Minimum/Maximum scale settings for visibility of layers in symbols would be great to have in the drawing!

It might be clearer if these were called Smallest/Largest scale?

Edit: this is essentially what the Scale to Pen already does, so I'm fine with things staying as they are...

I think it was a macro Mark M. made or something, but if memory serves me correct, it caused some issues, maybe after an update or something?

There was one in Datacad Plus.
Currently in the Dcal for Delphi, Compiled macros there is "PSymColors.dmx" that allows you to map colors, see image below.

And then there is Tmpl_Mgr (or maybe Tpl_Mgr5) that will also allow you to map the colors in the symbols for a full template.
