A few items:
1. In some instances there's a need to insert high level windows over other doors/windows in the same wall. The problem at present is when viewed in 2D both the low-level and high-level items are shown together confusing the plan drawing:
Plan view with high level windows included in the wall
O2C of the same wall showing high level windows in the same wall as the low level windows
Wishlist - add the ability for smart walls to be viewed at custom heights above a) the walls z-base or, b) a set height for the drawing. ie. the wall above could be set so it is viewed from z- b=0 to z-h=2100 therefore excluding any voids/windows located above when viewed in plan,
2. The majority of doors/windows are more domestic. I've customized the Windows to create sliding and hinged commercial entry doors but the parametric settings to adjust the member sizes and positions is limited. The smart windows offer more options than the doors for creating a commercial entry door!
Smart window adjusted and used as a door
Wishlist - a) allow the smart doors to be used to create similar objects so doors are saved under doors and not pseudo windows used as doors.
b) the menu tab needs widening to allow longer file names to be viewed or include a text flyout,
c) improve the smart door/window parametric settings to allow more customizing of object, ie. in the 'window' used as a door above, the midrail cannot be moved up or down as it's really a transom (muntin). There's a lot of possibilities, it just needs more development - I've created parametric handrails, balustrading, louvers etc. but they are 'basic' and need more controls to make them more customizable.
d) allow the "door" swing of the windows (casement in top example) to be set at a different color as per the smart doors. Also allow the "door"/window to be shown open in plan view for smart windows just as smart doors show the doors open when set to 100% open etc. - this makes it clearer on plan when printing so the frame isn't shown across the "door"/window opening.
