While i'm on a wishlist role, why doesn't shift toggle ortho like in every other program?
Also it should be used to make squares when the rectangle.
Even better would be to toggle crossing for area and fence selecting.
Which reminds me that I was wondering if there was a way to make area crossing select whole groups. Say I draw a some rectangles and want to change the color of all of them, I have to choose between group and click them one at a time or area and make sure I touch or surround every entity. It would be nice to be able to area crossing select the entire group by crossing over one piece of it.
