When cleaning up a set of CDs, I’m constantly relocating assoc dimension text so it doesn’t overlap an entity or line. Easy to do this using Dim/Change/Text Position – but I wish we could “lock” the text movement at an orthag alignment matching the dim string instead of the text just attaching to the cursor and then sorta eyeballing it to get the correct distance off the line. Ideally the text would just “slide” along the dim line until you click to reposition it. Maybe there already is a way to do this that I’ve missed? -rd

During the positioning, you could use Shift+Snap on an existing entity and use Get X or Get Y to align the positions. Could draw a line to snap to if needed.
