Arrow Styles

We use two types of arrows in our office; the conventional arrow for text leaders, and a filled dot for identifying room names outside of the specified room, tops of walls, etc.

Each arrow has its own settings for size, weight, etc., and it'd be nice to be able to quickly load an 'Arrow Type', similar to how dimension styles are loaded, so we could just load and go.

I will second that. Being able to save an arrow style then make changes to it and reload the previous settings, Would be great to have. I dont think it would be all that tough to do since we already have that for dimensions.

Just my 2 cents.

I have a couple of custom toolbar icons that change all of the arrow settings for me, in order to swap back and forth between our standard arrow, and an open dot that is used on some PME plans ... works like a charm!

I do this using command aliases.

I can type in ad for dotted arrows and ao for open type arrows.

[ao]
comment=arrow open
alias=^;^S6^S2^F2^F1^S0^F1^F7^$^F5^S3^
[ad]
comment=arrow dot
alias=^;^S6^S2^F2^F4^S0^F1^F5^$^F5^F0^

After it has been set, I can sometimes just use 'a'

[a]
comment=arrow
alias=^;^S6^S2^

Here is my code for the toolbars...

Code: Select all[SRB-ARROW1]
Hint=Set OPEN Arrowhead
Icon=SRB-ARROW1
A=^·^È^;^S6^S2^F2^F1^S0^F1^F5^S0^F3^F9^S0^F5^F3^¸^É

[SRB-ARROW2]
Hint=Set DOT Arrowhead
Icon=SRB-ARROW2
A=^·^È^;^S6^S2^F2^F4^S0^F1^F5^S0^F5^F1^¸^É
