Not sure if this would work but would it be possible to get a backdoor from the distance menus to Settings, Edit Defs., Distances where we could make changes to the distance file and then return via right click to the distance input for command we were in? Could maybe be S7 Edit Distances?

Would be nice if Dynamic Stretching worked on closed polyline points, not just open polylines. Add in polyline's cousin the smart arrow's mid points.

Would it be possible to show what layer the orphaned xrefs are on in the orphaned refs dialog? Would make figuring out what should be defined where much easier.

Would it be possible to get a ini option for Keep Groups so that when we go into the paste command we could have it set for Always On, Always Off or Remember last state?

Could we get an option so lock size only adjusts when switching between GTV's? Should probably be per symbol? This would help tons keeping symbols using lock size in check when wanting to use a different scale for something on the same GTV like printing an enlargement or inserting another symbol at a different scale.

It would be a great time saver if in the Hatch, Boundary, Voids, Create New, if there was a copy option so we could copy an existing void to create a new void. When Create New is enabled it could 'F3 Copy' and when we snap/click on an existing void, it would start a drag showing the outline of the void and we could snap/click the new void into place.

Would be handy if in the Mask, Entity selection menu we could pick a specific symbol(s). Say when we pick S1 Symbol, S4 could be reveled as S4 Pick Symbols, then we would be prompted to click on symbols for selection. Right click would back out to the Mask entity selection menu. Would be very handy.

I'm not sure I understand what you are asking for. When you select a GTV from the Layer Manager, XRefs that are linked to that GTV are already being updated.

When we select a GTV from the menu, Xrefs with GTV Link turned on toggle layers/highlight settings etc. settings for that Xref to match the time when the GTV was last updated. When we use the Layer Manager's GTV drop down, it only toggles layers on/off, it doesn't toggle corresponding Xref's GTV Link layers/highlight settings which would be helpful since a lot of the time the xref makes up the foundation of the view.

Ahh it is working here, I just have to hit U to regen to get it to update. Would be nice if we didn't have to Something else that it is not doing is changing the plot scale to match what is saved with the GTV if we have Save Current Plot Scale With View=TRUE. Symbols with Lock Scale enabled are not changing size because of it. Could we get that to happen when we switch GTV's via the Layer Manager if the value above is set to TRUE? Thanks for checkin things out Dave.

We are loving the GTV Link function, but the only drag is when you need to update multiple GTV's to include say a set of newly added layers within the xref. We have to go to in and out of the reference manger and GTV lists for every view that needs to be updated and it can be very time consuming.

It would be great if there was a GTV dropdown like we have within the Layer Manager with a update button that would update the GTV Link information with what is set in the layer list for that xref (see image)

It would also be a big time saver if when we right click in the layer section of the Ref. Man., that we could "Copy Layer Selection" "Paste Layer Selection" like we can currently with the Highlighting settings. A new option that might be nice would be a "Paste Additional Layer Selection" that would add the previously copied layer selection to the existing layer selection so that way if different views have different layer showing for that xref, but they all need the newly added layers it could be done much quicker.
