When working with wall sections and plan details, it would be a benefit to be able to open multiple GTVs at a time...for reference to the new drawing being created.

An example would be to be able to open the front elevation and the wall sections that are cut from the elevation. It would save time to not have to go to the layer menu to turn them on and off to get the "working view" needed.[/b]

Great point! This could be thought of as an "additive" GTV, as opposed to always having a GTV replace the current view, as they currently do.

That is a very good point, there have been many times where it would have come in handy for me.

Isn't this what multiviews are for? Or am I missing something?

Why not use XREF's (or IREF's (self xref's)) and have the references set to the views you want. You could then put these references on their own layers and turn them on or off as needed.
