Hatch Preview

Is it possible to have hatch previews to be bitmap rather than vector. The reason I ask this is that I find it annoying that some hatches take a long time to preview because of their scales. I have adjusted scales but I dont really understand what I am doing. After all it is only a preview.

I like this idea. Somehow I always seem to end up selecting a super-complicated hatch that I rarely use and I have to wait for the preview to finish before I can select a different one.

is there any quick way to change all the Display Scales from 1 to 10, or maybe 20?
I have 234 patterns, so a quick batch routine would help

I'm sure there are free utilities out there, but UltraEdit is an affordable (and phenomenal) editor with a robust search and replace engine.
