Transfer old templates to DC16

How can I transfer my old templates to DC16. I try but, I cant open any.

You don't need to transfer your old templates - use the Symbol Browser. You just need to point the SB to where your symbols for the template are located and save it as a Favorite.

or you can place the templates under Datacad\sym and the Templates under Datacad\tpl (not Datacad 16..., make new directoires), or just leave them in the current positions and change your preference\pathname to point to those directories.

The old template method requires the correct paths be in each template. The Symbol Browser just opens the folder with the symbol files in it directly. This is so much better.

Are you working on a standalone computer, or are you on a network with other people also using DataCAD?
