I would like the possibility of a "digital" proportional divider.

In the divide menu we have golden mean but there are other ratios that I use such as √3/2 ≈ 0.86 , c/10 ≈ 1.37, √2 ≈ 1.41, √3 ≈ 1.73, 1+√2 ≈ 2.41

Could a user defined proportional ratio be added ? The option of saving and naming of these divisions in a file to be loaded or better still in the menu would be great. Plenty of space in the menu F7 to F12

You could create an icon or keyboard shortcut for each one you want to use.

What would be the steps?

Utility menu > F7 Measures> F3 line write down or remember length
Utiliy menu > F6 Geometry > F1 Divide > F4 Division + distance
in entry box = distance * ratio eg =2000mm* 0.86 click twice
click start of line and end of line, snap point is added

This would work with a line at any angle.

A bit cluncky, any ideas for a shorter sequence or alternative method?
