Would be a good help if we could choose among Plan View or Isometric View, for symbols viewing in Symbol Viewer, like is on the menu "Insert/Symbol...":
Since several 3D symbols are better identified if they appear as they are usually saw:
with this 
It would be enough a toggle for viewing on Plan or Iso view.
Even better, if this toggle would be valuable for each single template, set individually.
