If there is any way to have the symbols operate in a similar way as Reference Files, like in the Reference File Manager, where you can 'change' the reference file to only have 'certain' layers on or off in your displayed view or have all the layer turn a different color.... I could see that we could really make use of this. Symbols are a lot easier to insert and manage than Reference Files. It would be nice to be able to double click a Symbol and not only edit it globally, but be able to tweak line spacing, line colors, etc.
