What features would you like to see added to a future version of DataCAD?

There are numerous times it would be advantageous to have multiple 'active' windows displayed allowing various views (plan/elevation/iso/detail etc.). Move the mouse over a window and it becomes active and working in one window automatically displays the changes real time in the other windows.

The closest we've got to emulating this is to tear off some of the MVW's and place them on the second monitor to view GTV's. The present limitation of these is they are somewhat inflexible if you need to zoom in to a specific area without the need to first create a GTV window of the specific area you want to zoom into. The current zoom option doesn't allow the user to zoom to a specific area in the window.

Wishlist - add the ability to zoom window and pan inside a MVW. This would allow one or more MVW's to be expanded to full screen or split side by side with various views AND the ability to zoom window to a specific portion of the drawing. ie. various floor plans in a multi-storey could be placed in several MVW's showing the floor below and above that shown in the main drawing window and a sectional view and 3D model view in other MVW's all at the same time. This makes it easier to understand what's going on when you're designing and documenting a project as you can more readily see where everything is in the various open MVW's. Setting the auto update on will also allow each MVW to display work in progress changes made in the main window.
