1. Add the option of allowing hatch patterns to have a different colour for the hatch outline and hatch pattern. This is useful where outlines can be assigned a pen setting that prints thicker than the pattern to help define the shape,

2. Add a convert Polyline to Hatch option to allow a polyline to access the hatch pattern menu and display hatch patterns. Currently, a polyline can only turn on/off Fills.

For your #2, I think if you edit the polyline property, turn off the show fill, then you can access hatch. Seems like you can add a fill to a hatch through the hatch menu, but not in the Properties box.
