Wishlist for the Layer Manager:
- grouping layers (Josh's proposal looks very good);
- duplicate command for layers and layer groups
(very useful when creating "a second option" for the client);

What do you think?

This is a good improvement.

As long as you are increasing complexity on the projects, the main problem for the layer management is the huge number of layers. Imagine the required to fit this proposed CAD Standards. So, a grouping routine, like a Windows Explorer alike, could make easier this handling.

I'd like to contribute for detailing much more this point.
