How about adding a change layer option to the change/match command to go along with linetype and color, etc.?

This is an excellent idea. I could have used it last night and was going to post it this morning. Would work great for doing Demolition plans.

If you suggest to be an option I do agree with you.

In the DataCAD 'philosophy' change layer is a physical change, what means "move" to another place.

Your suggestion would save several mouse clicks, when change the layer is also on the target.

I agree, too -- there was a part of DC Sprint that changed the color to the active color of the destination layer. I still use this piece of DC Sprint fairly often, and I would like to see it made a part of DataCAD.
