What features would you like to see added to a future version of DataCAD?

Would it be possible to have the option in the preferences dialog of neither one-line-trim-by-entity or one-line-trim-by-points as if that key in the dcadwin.ini was left blank?

The preference dialog setting overrides the action codes included in toolbar buttons that already define which method is to be used. Every time there is a software update, some gymnastics needs to be performed between the dialog setting and the ini file in order to get the toolbar buttons to work properly again since every update resets that key to be either true or false, rather than leaving it blank.

Thanks!

I sent info in reference to this to Dave and his reply is:

Until the Preferences dialog is corrected to allow 3 choices for 1 Line Trim, you'll need to manually set this key to be empty:

[General]
1LineTrim By Entity=

Then, these will work:

[1LNTRIM01]
Hint=Trim to a line by Entity
Icon=DTB_1LineTrim
A=^1016#^;^F9^F4^

[1LNTRIM02]
Hint=Trim to a line by 2 Points
Icon=DTB_1LineTrim
A=^1017#^;^F9^F4^

Yep.

Until it does get corrected, just FYI to forum readers...
If for any reason you make a change in the Preference dialog and save it (hit OK), the dcadwin.ini will have been rewritten to have the setting for One Line Trim currently in the dialog, causing the toolbar buttons to cease working correctly mid-production. Then you have to exit datacad, change the dcadwin.ini key back to blank and restart the program.
