Identify a polyline - segment readout
Posted: Thu Jun 14, 2018 10:07 pmCurrently, when Identifying an open or closed polyline the whole polyline is selected with Area and Perimeter the only measurements shown in the readout.
Add the ability to also show the length of the line segment (or arc length with curves), between the two nearest nodes in either direction. This allows a polyline to be 'read' similar to standard lines and can allow, say, a site boundary outline to be defined as a polyline (so areas can be quickly verified), as well as allowing any length along any segment of the boundary line to also have its length read in the readout at the bottom of screen.
