Smart double doors - unequal door leafs
Posted: Thu Dec 19, 2019 6:56 pmThe generic smart doors which allow fixed width or free width for on the fly sizing when being placed in a wall are a great feature during the SD phase of work. The ability to quickly change a door swing angle is also a great feature for flexibility. What's missing though in the double door selections is the ability to insert a generic double door with unequal door leafs.
Wishlist - there's probably a number of ways of approaching this, but one could be to add another unit door type, Double Unequal, which then displays two fixed width menu tick boxes representing the left and right door leafs. This allows a user to tick the left Fixed Width box to lock in the size leaving the right leaf for real time sizing on placement in the wall. Ticking both boxes would allow an unequal double door of the specified leaf sizing for each side and so on.
