Smart doors new features
Posted: Thu Feb 13, 2020 11:21 pmI'm hoping these additions to the existing smart doors DTM aren't too difficult to implement and will allow the plans to show greater detail for improved coordination as the scale zooms in. Rather than just a rectangle for the door frame, a symbol of an actual door frame can be used and if scale-dependent symbols are also used, then these can change to the actual manufacturer profile at at close-up detail scale, allow quicker documentation for plan details and cross referencing. Showing door handles also helps coordinate door types and clearances. Similarly, improving the flexibility of display on swing line types can allow doors to be placed for other building elements such as o/h or u/b joinery/cupboard doors etc.
