Using the active polyline readout feature added in V20 develop it further to include symbol attributes and auto-incrementing of values with each snap point placed on screen. This would allow users to quickly and accurately snap floor levels (RL's) up a building,, for grid setouts or distance of travel to fire exits etc. It would offer a multi-purpose use in plan or elevation with some examples below.
