It would be good if DataCad had a popup with Wall information that could be edited for different wall types. A simple program such as Chief Architect, a program more for a builder has just that.

Try WallStyle at F5 under the Architects menu and see if that will do what you want. Short of having parametrics this is probably as close as you are going to come at this point.
