What features would you like to see added to a future version of DataCAD?

Just Like we change our TEXT SCALE by Page-up and Page-Down. It would be nice to have our Symbols do the same.
We could draw our symbols 1:1 and then Page-up Page-Down its scale

I like this concept except that some of us have our symbols created for 1/4" scale or 1:48 so the page up/down would work differently. Maybe we could tell DAtaCAD what the initial insertion scale for the symbol should be. Also, the scale step would have to correspond to the available plot scale list rather than simply enlarging by 2 at each step. Another concept is for DataCAD to be able to tell us what enlargement has already been applied to the symbol from its original creation scale. All in all, it becomes a complex thing to implement. DataCAD might have to design a system for doing this, and we might have to adjust our symbol library to conform to the new system.

Hello Sinha,

Dick is right. The symbols that you would want to scale are those text-related or drawing markers.
There is an interesting discussion in another thread, that I suggest you take a look into. It worths the time spent:

We use to create all our 'real world' symbols in DataCAD, thinking in a real world drawing scale (1:1). For those symbols text-related, a feature for linking it to the plotting scale would be a great help.
In that case, your suggestion of using PageUp/PgDown would be very useful.

Thanks,
Miguel
