What features would you like to see added to a future version of DataCAD?

For those of us who require continual, real time updating of .dwg exports
and batch plots, a feature that would execute all these updates
automatically would be a benefit. Tying it to the saving of a file would be
ideal. Imagine closing out or just force saving an entire project, and
having all those plans that need to go to consultants instantly updated
without all the individual, manual, mind-exploding work that we currently
have to do. Just set up a batch export/plot routine anytime during a
project, and GTV's can be added to the feature list once, and anytime we
save out, these are updated.

I kind of agree. It would be awesome to save sheets to dwg file, so that the dwg appears just like the pdf file. It always sucks that when one exports a multi-sheet drawing that the Autocad users lose the sheet layouts. To save time dealing with the engineers I export each floor individually, so that they do not need to sort through layers.

I was just thinking something similar Steve...

Is there a way to have plot information saved within Goto Views?

We print at a different pen weight for check plots / half size. Each time I have to go in and make sure the pen weight is correctly set up whether we do full size or check plot / half size.

It would also be nice to have it set up to remember quick layout positions.

No, there currently isn't the capability to save plot info with GTV's. This
would be a major feature that would solve some big problems. Simply
printing out an 8 1/2x11 to fax to your client screws up all batch plotting
settings.
