I find the symbol editor great to work with and is a major plus for the new version.

When modifying a symbol is it possible to have an indicator in the symbol browser to indicate that it has been modified from the original.
So that when coming back to a drawing at a later stage and inserting what would seem to be a standard sized symbol, for example a door frame, only to find out that it is inaccurate as it has been modified previously to fit an existing aperture of non standard size.
Is there any support for this idea or is there some additional practice I should be adopting?
