DWG/DXF export of covered Polyslabs
Posted: Mon Jun 02, 2008 4:33 pmHopefully an easy one to implement. Presently, when exporting 3D models which use a covered polyline (polyslab), the resultant DWG/DXF files do not convert the polyslabs to 3D polygons, but instead a flat 3D line.
Consider adding the option/toggle to automatically convert all polyslabs to 3D polygons on export. This allows the original DataCAD file to retain the data as a polyslab without the need to explode it prior to exporting. It also means that models are more complete after being converted to DWG/DXF.
