Hello,

Some customers need to handle Contour Curves for site designing. A user made a comparative study over different behaviors of curves traced over coordinated points and the result can be checked here.

The red dots are the survey points. The green lines are our Contour Curves, generated over the points, while the yellow curves are from a surveying aplication, named "Posicao", which does the same contour generation from survey points. You can verify how high accurate is DataCAD!



Is there any chance to add the options for stiffness and/or smoothness for the curves when importing it using the "Gen Contour" menu, as well as it's done today for dropping mesh over the same set of points ?



This enhancement will allow DataCAD site designers be closer from a real accurate survey, as if they would be using professional softwares for this specialized area.

Note: I can send the .AEC drawing file, if necessary to identify the comparison.
