Hello,

One of my most experienced customers, the architect Miguel Angel Pereyra, did a nice hystorical rescue for a college in the interior of Argentina, in an ancient town named Concepción del Uruguay. He built the full 3D model in DataCAD.
This is a detail from the façade window:

The objects in the façade required careful modeling job, to keep the cultural heritage value. He detailed all elements in 3D with a nice result as you can observe below.

One of the modeling tools that he demanded to be enhanced would be 3D Knife, which was used for cutting 3D primary elements on building joints like this:

Asked by Miguel Pereyra I've made an experiment using a covered polyline, later exploded and rotated. Some fails did appear, mainly on polygons which are near the vertical plane:

Another fail is happening when some polygons were removed at the cut-off operation on 3D Knife:

Are there any plans to put hands on to improve this great modeling tool ?

Thanks,
Miguel
