Rendering Settings... (Drawing_Name.DMF)

Hello,

When you enter on "View/Rendering Settings" the set of materials attached to the drawing file is originally generated always from the same file "DcadWin.Dmf". Or another one, if you attach it to your Default.AEC.

Any adjustement you do in the settings will reflect in all files which has this .DMF attached.

The only option to prevent this weakness is if you "Save As..." the Rendering Settings File for EACH of your drawing, with different names.

Accidents can easily happen when you change a single color in a drawing on a moment, and forget to Save As... to another name. If you enter on another drawing file it will carry on the changes of the material settings, what exposes the previous choice.

My wish is that this 'logic' should be inverted.
DataCAD should always create a 'new' Drawing_file.DMF file with the same name of the .AEC model. Obviously it could keep 'loading' the primary settings from the starting 'default' .DMF file (since you shouldn't be forced to create all adjustements from 'zero').

Thanks,
Miguel
