There is a problem dwg that DataCAD fails to open/import for some reason: http://www.hirvesoo.ee/problem.dwg (270KB)
Does anybody have an idea what can be wrong with this drawing?

Hi Marko,

It seem to open OK with Version 11.08.01

What version of Datacad are you using.

I'm guessing that Marko is in DC 10 as I was able to open it in V11 like Bruce.

I've PM'd Marko so that I can send him the converted DC file and get him back to production.

I'm using 11.08.01. I tried to both import the drawing and directly open it, but in both cases DataCAD analyses the file, counts entities ...100% but then suddenly gives no more response

Hello Marko,

Are you using the "Move to Origin" option? If so, try it w/o and then move things afterwards.

Also, you can hit End to "unfreeze" it, though it won't have imported anything...

Thank you for another hint. This really seems to solve the problem. I unchecked the "move to origin" option and the original problem dwg opened smoothly.
