Is it possible to export a reference file, specifically a bitmap/image of a logo.
Need to export as a dwg (for autocad), and I see an option for automatic export of reference files on the export menu, but all that shows up is a box?
Using V.11
Thanks-

Hi,
Just a thought . Can you explode the box and get the bitmap to show.

Well, I need this to show in in a cad viewer such as Bentley or VoloView, no way to manipulate the file.

I have had NO luck in having the bitmap stay in the file. Autocad uses the command "image" to inset into the file. I would have someone with Autocad update the file with the bitmap.

Hi,

It would seem that DataCAD uses a completely different method of displaying images than AutoCAD does, and the two formats are unfortunately not compatible.

I am glad you brought this up. I am fighting with the same problem.
There must be some way to bind images to the file.
