After a bit of tearing of hair over at Greg's last night on the abovementioned picture mount problem, I am concluding that o2c will not work with a single polygon.

Is this an X3 bug, or has it always been the case?

A single slab is OK. Maybe o2c refuses to accept a poly because there is a dimension missing and it isn't a 3D model.(?)

It seems, if I understand your need, if you draw a vertical polygon any length then add 1 millimeter polygon on the end it will appear in O2C
