The o2c Player is now available for additional Windows-based browsers. In addition to Internet Explorer and Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Safari are now supported.

You can download the setup program using the link below since not all browsers support automatic installation.

Mark,

Is there a Windows version of Safari? Is the new o2c supported in any Mac browsers?

Hello Neil:

Yes, there is a Safari for Windows.

Unfortunately, ActiveX controls are not supported on the Macintosh platform.

Do you know if there are any advantages / disadvantages to using the new versions vs. the old raytrace version besides the raytracer? I've pretty much stopped using the raytrace feature. Any known intergration issues with Datacad's O2C viewer app or materials dialogs?

If you install the 'Universal' edition (o2c Player version 2.0.0.56(U)), you can use Start, Run, "regsvr32 o2cplayer.ocx" (without the quotes) to re-register the ActiveX control that ships with DataCAD (o2c Player version 1.9.9.149). With this configuration, you should be able to display embedded o2c objects in Internet Explorer, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, and Safari using o2c Player version 2.0.0.56(U). In DataCAD, you will be using o2c Player version 1.9.9.149. When you double-click on an o2c object, it should launch in o2c Player version 1.9.9.149.
