o2c Player Version?
Posted: Tue Oct 30, 2007 11:35 amTo determine the version of the o2c Player control installed on your machine, right-click on the o2cPlayer.ocx file located in \Windows\System32\ and select Properties. The following dialog should appear.

Select the Version tab then select Product Name. Version 1.9.9.149 is the latest version that supports Raytracing. Versions 2 and later do not support Raytracing.
o2cPlayer.ocx supports the stand-alone o2c Player and embedded o2c objects in Microsoft Internet Explorer.
npo2cPlayer.dll supports the plug-in for either Mozilla Firefox or Netscape Navigator. For Firefox, npo2cPlayer.dll is located in \Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles... and \Documents and Settings\<user>\Application Data\Netscape\Navigator\Profiles... for Netscape. The plug-in for Firefox and Netscape does not support Raytracing. However, you can retain o2cPlayer.ocx version 1.9.9.149 for the stand-alone player, Internet Explorer, and DataCAD independently from Firefox and Netscape.
The o2c Player plug-in is not currently supported by either Opera Browser or Apple Safari. The stand-alone o2c Player requires Microsoft Windows and does not currently support Macintosh operating systems.
