When I save an image from within o2c I can only save as a BMP file.
Is it possible to save as a jpg, and if so how do I change to this as a default setting?

I don't think you can. Irfanview can do it for you in bulk, and it's a freebie.

Thanks guys-but here is a strange thing. My home PC gives the option in o2c to save in various formats including jpg, whereas my works version doesn't. I've checked the home version of o2c which is 2.0.0.40. I'll need to check out my works version & maybe reinstall to another version

I'm not sure that's such a good idea. I believe the later version of o2c was deemed as not the way to go and everybody reverted to the more kosher version. I am using v1.9.9.dadedah. Something to do with raytracing.

I believe that Nick is correct. As I recall, v2 of O2C does not have raytracing and, because of that, DataCAD recommended not upgrading to v2, unless something has changed since then.

Hi,

In the latest version of v12, I have o2c v1.9.9.149 -- which allows you to do a raytrace, AND it only lets you save an image to BMP.

I would again recommend using IrfanView to convert the BMP to a PNG or JPG.
