Okay.. here is another questions. some drawing when I went into have the offest set at 0", 1/2", 1" etc.... but other drawing has 0" 1/4", 3/8", 5/8", etc... Looks like we are able to set the offest dimension somehow... is that right?

thanks

Yup! Each drawing remembers it's last dimension settings. If you look under TextStyle, DimStyle, Arrow Style, there are different settings you can adjust. Once you get things set the way you want you can then use the Styles button and save all those settings to a .dimstyle file, and load it into any drawings you want. Once you find what you set you will use most, you can load it into your base drawings, so you always start with that dimstyle and don't have to load it each time. Hope this helps :!:

Hello Alan,

That list of distances appears on each menu where distances are used -- if you go to Settings/Edit Def(inition)s/Distances. There you can change or add the distances you want -- with the limitation of the number of buttons on the menu.

I tend to use the menu for the shorter distances (under a foot, generally), and I enter the longer distances on the number pad. So, my distance menu looks like this:

1/16"
3/32"
1/8"
1/4"
1/2"
5/8"
3/4"
1"
1 1/2"
3 1/2"
5 1/2"
7 1/4"
9 1/4"
11 1/4"

Remember too, that you can click on two or more distances on the menu, and they will be added up.

BTW, are you thinking of coming down to Sudbury next Wednesday for the DBUG meeting I am hosting?

Hello,

I'd like to be with you too, guys. My little problem is that I am 12 thousand miles away.

Hope Neil (or Evan) can produce a report, plenty of informations as usual, perhaps in the next Cheap Trick Bulletins.

Have a nice meeting guys,
Miguel
