We used DataCAD for years and half heart-idly switched from DCAD 11 to AutoCAD several years back. We are now evaluating DCAD 15. Being a multifamily architect we xref 5-6 base unit plan files (each xref'ed in 5-10 times) into one building plan and it seems to take forever to open a building plan in DCAD 15. I went back in DCAD 11 and it was about the same time. Is there a tweak to speed that up? The program only seems to use very little of the gigabit connection to the server.
