I have been switching back and forth working on my laptop and desk top machines on a project.
I did a "save as" on a file to create a new file for revision purposes on my laptop.
After making the revisions I went to print out a pdf. The newly created file defaulted to the Dcadwin pen table. Ok, no problem, loaded the pen table I wanted and tried again. The preview and saved pdf still retained the Dcadwin pen colors.
I tried other pen tables. Same result. It displayed the Dcadwin colors.
Deactivated on my laptop and opened the same file on my desk top machine. The file is locate in Dropbox so it is the same file. On my desk top machine I can plot it to pdf correctly using the correct pen table.
Deactivated my desk top machine and opened the file again on my laptop. It still displays the colors of the Dcadwin pen table even though the chosen pen table is correct.
It is only this particular file that this is happening to and only on my laptop. I opened other files and tried plotting and everything is fine. Same pen table too.
Any suggestion?

Thanks,
Bob

In the plot menu check 'Scale to pen' to see if that drawing has any pen tables set up there. These settings will override your pen table. If it does you might want to fix it in your default drawing files.

Paul,
Yes, this problem is due to the "Scale to Pen".
I had set up MSP pen tables in DataCAD 12 and used it in this file years ago. When I opened it in DataCAD 15 it searched for the settings back in DataCAD 12 which was still installed on my desk top machine but NOT in my newer laptop.
I just created a fake DataCAD 12 path, in my laptop, to the MSP pens which I copied over from my desk top machine.
Now it displays the correct colors and saves to PDF correctly.
