I am trying to convince my new employer to convert to DataCAD from autocad and I am using the trial version. I am having isses getting the trial version to load a dwg file. Is this ability taken out of the trial version?

i FOUND THE PROBLEM. AUTOCAD LT 13. SAVED AS OLDER VERSION AND ALL IS WELL.

DataCAD 15 supports up to AutoCAD 2012 format. DataCAD 16 will include support for the newer 2013/2014 format.
