Help! I'm on vacation... unregistered my office machine, registered my laptop - no problem. Brought all my files, when I click on them, I see a quick black flash, then just a grey screen, with nothing open. I can create a new file, but can't open existing files... I also turned off Avast, to no avail. Thoughts? Thanks.

Where (i.e., what media) are you trying to read the files from?

Check to make certain they aren't marked as "Read Only".

They are on my desk top.
They were 'read only', I just un-checked the box, but they still won't open.

Can you send one of the files to techsupport@datacad.com so we can make sure the files didn't get 'corrupted' when you copied them from your office machine to your laptop?
