Is there any way to insert a pdf into a DataCad 14 drawing file? This is probably so common a question it's probably overlooked by most, but a quick search led me nowhere.

Anybody have a cliff-notes version?

Thanks,

Matt

You can even open in the free acrobat reader, using the Edit, Take a Snapshot Command, pick the rectangular area you want, go to Dcad and insert bitmap, give it name (remember where you are saving this file) and then pick the rectangular area in dcad to place it as a image.

To add to Rogers post, I would recommend that after selecting the area you want to copy, you should zoom in to at least 100% before you make the copy. I usually go to 200% to 400% depending on the image. This will give you a high resolution image to paste into DCAD.
