When doing a sketch and not using walls but lines and offsets the door and window insert will not work. Is this by design? It worked nicely in previous releases. Is there a way to have it work both ways??
First thing to check is whether Auto 3D is toggled on in the Architect menu. If so, it was trying to put Smart windows/doors into 'dumb' walls. Toggle off Auto 3D and you should be good to go.
Second thing to check is what the layer search in the door/window menu is set to - Any layer or One layer are the options, and if the One layer was set to a layer other than the one with the wall lines, then that would be the reason.
