toolbox macros

Is there a way i can get a brief explanation of the macros in the toolbox?Is there a cheap tricks i can refer to?

Try the Datacad Manual. There are explanations there of the standard macros that come with Datacad. For any old macros you might want to try the cheap tricks website. The Datacad website also has some information on it about macros and I believe there are some for download on the Datacad website too.
