our master computer is losing disk space (by the gigs!)

we think it is due to the temp files under the program files folder.

our secondary computers do not have temp files. (I think DC did away with them in one update)

anyway has anyone experienced this problem?
does any one have a solution?
does anyone know what im talking about?

I'm afraid can be not fully understanding your problem. So, I'll ask you some informations:

a) Have you concentrated all the temporary files for all other machines on your site in one 'master' computer ?
If you have done that, I would suggest you to redirect by each computer itself.

b) When you say "our secondary computers do not have temp files" you mean there is no folder for that destination in the secondary computers ?
Sugestion: create them to redirect temporary files from each computer.

c) Concentrate the "Backup-Sessions" on the master computer. You will have temporary drawings distributed on each machine, and wil increase your jobs security.
