Is there any way to convert 3d lines to 2d so that I can use the clean up functions?

The "SubLine" macro, a free download from our Web site, can substitute 2D lines for 3D lines.

https://www.datacad.com/support/down/Subline.zip

Save the file to a folder on your hard drive, and then unzip it. Copy the enclosed "SubLine.dcx" into your DataCAD\Macros\ folder. Access the macro via the "Toolbox" menu button.

3D Line Convert (3DLINCVT) does this. You need to "squash" them first by changing the Z height and base to zero.
